Chief executive Polys Hajioannou tells TradeWinds that the Greek company is in talks with a Japanese shipbuilder to delay the 84,000-dwt kamsarmax by about a year, bringing the delivery to mid-2017.
The company, which has a total of 11 panamax and post-panamax bulkers on order, has not named the yard where it booked the vessel, Hull No 1718, and it does not appear in shipping databases.
