The 2,824-teu Clara Schulte (built 2005), which operates as CMA CGM Rose, is understood to have been sold in an off-market deal involving bank financing. Management remains with Thomas Schulte.
Other potential buyers are understood to have expressed an interest in the Clara Schulte but Soundview emerged as the preferred partner. The ship is being sold after its KG (limited partnership) owner ran into financial trouble.
