Brokers this week said the shipowner has sold one of its Chinese-built ultramaxes and a kamsarmax under construction in Japan.
TradeWinds sources say that no deal has been completed but that offers are being received.
One of the vessels potentially being sold is the 64,000-dwt SBI Kratos — one of its 10 ultramax newbuildings at China’s Chengxi Shipyard.
The vessel, which is set for delivery in the first quarter of 2016, is believed to have attracted offers of $24.5m.
