The 300,000-dwt Plata Glory (built 1999) is understood to have been taken by Unique Tankers for six months, with an option for six more months, at $37,750 per day.
Sinokor bought the Plata Glory as Front Commanche from John Fredriksen’s Frontline for just $22.8m in July last year. It was one of three 1990s-built VLCCs that Sinokor snapped up from Frontline at that time.
