The latest Petrobras tender for anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels reveals a record-high number of 61 ships seeking work in two vessel classes.

But many of these have been offered in at shockingly reduced day rates, which appear to be at loss-making levels in some cases, say brokers in Brazil.
