The fleet now totals 28 units after taking two tankers on time charter from Liquimar of Greece and another tanker from Densa Shipping.
Stena Bulk managing director Erik Haanell confirms the expansion, adding that the two partners, Stena and Angolan oil company Sonangol, are complementary to each other.
Many pools tend to break up when the markets recover but this does not appear to pose a threat to Stena Sonangol, according to Haanell.
