Euronav secures charter for VLCC and repurchases 500,000 shares
Euronav is said to have found employment for the first of four VLCCs bought from Greek owner Metrostar last year at the same time as it revealed the repurchase of a bundle of its own shares.
Brokers and analysts say the 308,000-dwt Alice (built 2016) has been hired on a six-month contract worth around $6m.
