Erasmus Shipinvest has arrested a bulker on hire to Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) but chief executive Su Zhongyi (John Su) says there has been no problem with hire payments from the troubled operator.
Tonnage provider Erasmus has an exposure to HMM’s troubles in the form of the 74,700-dwt Glory Rotterdam (built 2001), which is now in the fifth year of a seven-year time charter to the troubled South Korean owner.
