Farenco Shipping of China has sold the Chenxi-built, 75,000-dwt-dwt Ocean Qingdao (built 2011) to an undisclosed buyer for $11.5m. VesselsValue pegs its worth at $10.7m.
Farenco, primarily a bulker operator, also owns the sistership Ocean Dalian (built 2011). Both were probably ordered for $29m to $30m each. Its two other owned ships, the 56,000-dwt Silvia Ambition (built 2011) and Silvia Glory (built 2012), were ordered at Zhejiang Zengzhou Shipbuilding.
