Representatives of all but one of the 13 International Group protection-and-indemnity (P&I) clubs turned up in Genoa to hear the strategy of the world’s 10th-largest insurance broker, which is making a determined push into the marine market.

The missing mutual was the Japan Club, which remains domestically orientated despite recent expansion in other parts of Asia.

But club managers from New York, Norway, Sweden and the UK were out in force for the event.

The
