Danish chemical-carrier owner Team Tankers has continued to streamline its tanker fleet with the sale of another two vessels that do not fit the company’s strategy.
The 13,100-dwt Sichem Edinburgh (built 2007) has been sold to Vietnam’s Aulac Corp for $11.5m, while market sources say the 19,900-dwt stainless-steel tanker North Contender (built 2005) has gone to another Vietnamese buyer for $18.8m.
