Greek shipowner Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) has scooped a contract for its nine-year-old LNG carrier that will see the vessel used as a floating storage unit (FSU) in China.

Sources close to the business say TEN’s lone trading LNG carrier, the 149,700-cbm Neo Energy (built 2007), which was redelivered from its term-charter at the end of March, has been selected by Chinese energy giant CNOOC to be deployed as an LNG FSU.
