Bergshav unlikely to see much of Teekay’s $6.3m

An arbitration tribunal decided last December that Teekay subsidiary Skaugen PetroTrans (SPT) must pay $6.3m compensation for pulling out of the 10-year charters of the 105,000-dwt SPT Crusader and SPT Conqueror (both built 2007).

Since then, SPT Ltd has declared bankruptcy and Bergshav Holding’s board says in its 2015 report that it is doubtful the whole amount will be met by Teekay.
