Lawyers chasing Hanjin Shipping vessels are sceptical about reports that as many as 10 of them are already under arrest in China.

Also being questioned are claims that China is the shortcut to cash around a Korean insolvency proceeding (see story below).

But the choice of arrest venue — which port jurisdictions offer advantages to which parties in the massive Hanjin Shipping insolvency — is one of the big questions for the time being both for those running the Korean rehabilitation process and the claimants against Hanjin.
