A traditional Greek shipping player is the buyer of a German-controlled supramax bulker that changed hands in a bank sale last month, market sources say.
This would be the 24th ship to pass from German to Greek hands so far this year.
Samartzis JP Maritime Enterprises has been tipped as the new owner of the 55,600-dwt ER Barcelona (built 2010). The Hyundai Vinashin-built vessel used to be owned by ER Schiffahrt and operated by Hanjin Shipping.
