Oslo-based Eirik Nyhus does unenviable legwork decoding reams of regulatory “bureaucratese”, communicating it onwards to owners and operators in terms that are easier to digest.
“Where we know the timelines and the content” of regulation now in place “it’s just a question of dealing with it”, he says (see tables top right).
But a bunch of uncertainties are now on the horizon over “things we know are happening” and hazy in terms of specific content, timelines and implementation, says Nyhus.
