Singapore’s Winning International has been accused of not providing “vital” information for marine accident investigators that would help indicate the state of a bauxite cargo on the 56,000-dwt Bulk Jupiter (built 2006), which sank in January this year in a suspected case of liquefaction.

In its final report published this week, the Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) alleged that Winning had not co-operated in its investigation into the casualty that cost 18 seafarers’ lives — an allegation refuted by the shipping company.
