The Japanese-controlled, 8,800-dwt stainless-steel tanker Trans Trader (built 2005) is said to have been sold to a European buyer.
The Shitanoe-built vessel, managed by Seatrans in Bergen, has gone for $10.3m, sources say.

NYK Line of Japan has sold the 91,000-dwt Sekiyo (built 1998) to a Chinese buyer. The Hitachi-built bulker fetched $8.7m, according to sources.
The 45,000-dwt bulker African Sun (built 1994) is said to have been sold for further trading for $4m.
