Wreck hunter Endurance nears control of ‘Titanic of her time’

That means US shipwreck hunter Endurance Exploration Group is a step closer towards taking control of the shipwreck, believed to be of the 116-metre-long SS Connaught — not to mention the treasure thought to be onboard.

Records in the US federal court in Tampa, Florida, show that Endurance’s hunt for claimants, after arresting the wreck in October last year, have come up empty-handed.
