Skaugen first African LNG to be delayed

IM Skaugen has pushed back the date for “first gas” from its small-scale LNG project in Africa by one month.

The Norwegian shipowner was expected to start transporting gas from the African site in July.

TradeWinds reported last month that insiders in the country had said that the LNG project had stalled, while European brokers had claimed that the deal was dead.
