To coincide with its 50th anniversary, the TT Club set out to investigate how the container shipping industry might be transformed in the next 25 years.
The container freight insurer came up with four visions of the future, ranging from dreamlike to dreadful.
With management consulting firm McKinsey, the authors interviewed more than 30 leaders and experts across the industry to produce the predictions in a report entitled "Brave new world? — Container transport in 2043".
