John Fredriksen's Frontline categorically denies it has fixed two VLCCs from Taiwan based Formosa Plastics.

According to broking reports the company had chartered the 297,000-dwt FPMC C Noble (built 2012) and FPMC P Melody (built 2011) for two years at $21,750 per day each with an option for a third year.

“I have heard it from at least four brokers, but it is absolutely not true” said Robert Hvide MacLeod, managing director of Frontline Management.
