Frontline is expecting significant scrapping in the VLCC market this year with the tanker owner also scouting for acquisitions at a time more openings are anticipated.
Seven VLCCs have already been scrapped in 2018, more than half way to the 13 demolished in 2017, Frontline Management chief executive Robert Hvide Macleod says.
