Asian attacks on shipping during the first half of 2017 were again on the decline, with a mere 36 reported incidents, according to figures released by the Singapore-based ReCAAP Information Sharing Centre today.
ReCAAP executive director Masafumi Kuroki, in a media briefing held this morning, that the number was the lowest number compared with the same periods in the past four years.
