Dutch shipping company Harlingen North Connect Lines (HNCL) is starting a new service between Sweden and Riga.

The weekly run will call at Varberg and Riga from Harlingen in the Netherlands, the Scandinavian Shipping Gazette reported.

The first call at Varberg took place on 22 June, with Samskip as agent in Sweden.

The HNCL website calls the company a gateway to Russia and the Baltic.
