The Ovation of the Seas, due for delivery in the second quarter of 2016, will be home ported in Tianjin, China, 70 miles southeast of Beijing.
The shipwill be the Royal Caribbean’s fifth cruise ship based in the region alongside Quantum of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and Legend of the Seas.
The US-listed cruise line claims the five ships will comprise the largest fleet deployment for any cruise brand in China.
