Greek shipowner George Procopiou has added eight more newbuildings to his huge orderbook.
Procopiou’s bulker company Sea Trader has put pen to paper on an order for eight 85,000-dwt bulkers worth $296m at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.
The deal is the sixth shipbuilding contract that Procopiou has inked since April this year, bringing his total spend on newbuildings to $2.09bn
