Nasdaq-listed Castor Maritime is making a profit on the sale of a bulker to a member of chief executive Petros Panagiotidis’ family.
The Cyprus-based owner said the 83,000-dwt kamsarmax Magic Venus (built 2010) went for $17.5m.
The vessel was bought from Pavimar at the beginning of 2021 for $15.85m.
