The private side of Greece’s Pittas shipping clan notched up their first dry bulker purchase in three years.

Family outfit Eurobulk snapped up the 82,800-dwt kamsarmax Yasa Neslihan (built 2005) earlier this month, company managers confirmed. The ship was previously controlled by Turkey’s Yasa Shipping, which slated it for sale as early as in July last year.

Further details of the deal were not available.
