Japanese steel mills have been forced to have a major rethink on the deployment of their dedicated capesize fleet, amid fears of a prolonged slump in domestic demand for steel caused by car factory closures.
The upcoming fall in Japanese steel demand is set to come as another blow to the struggling capesize market.
