Scotline has taken delivery of a brand-new log carrier from the Royal Bodewes Ship Yard in Groningen in the Netherlands.
The 4,800-dwt open-hatch bulker Scot Explorer was launched on 11 October and will be flagged in the UK.
Scotline said the vessel's "optimised" design means it is capable of carrying 7,000 cbm of sawn Swedish timber.
