Dubai-based Sea Sands Shipping has made its first move into bulk carrier ownership through the purchase of a Chinese-owned supramax.
Company managers confirmed reports this week that Sea Sands had acquired the 55,700-dwt SW Prosperous (built 2012).
Brokers said ship was sold for $16.3m
