A Lebanese cargoship has been banned from Paris MoU ports after failing to call at a repair yard to rectify deficiencies.

The 3,700-dwt Abdul G (built 1975) was detained in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 30 April with 32 deficiencies.

It left on 12 June, complying with the conditions determined by Thessaloniki port state control.

But it did not head to the designated repair yard in Yalova, Turkey, Paris MoU said.
