Crew on a BW Group bulker have contained an engine room fire that broke out off Yemen on Friday.
The Singapore company confirmed the incident on the 83,000-dwt, Isle of Man-flagged BW Acorn (built 2010) and said the situation was under control.
The UK Coastguard had earlier reported the vessel was drifting and not under command while requesting assistance.
