The captain of an Italian tanker has been taken to hospital after breaking his leg in heavy seas off France.
Ouest-France reported that the captain of the 116,000-dwt Neverland Dream (built 2010) was thrown against part of the ship's structure in the bow on Saturday afternoon.
The vessel was 130 miles off Brest.
He was taken to hospital.
The vessel is listed as operated by Finaval of Italy.
