The US has seen two bulker groundings within the space of 24 hours — one on its eastern seaboard and a second on its west coast — the US Coast Guard (USCG) has confirmed.
In the first incident, the 58,020-dwt Genco Auvergne (built 2009) ran aground on the Washington state side of the US West Coast's Columbia River on Thursday.
