Clarksons has raised its modern VLCC price assessments following some positive developments in the physical sale and purchase market.
As TradeWinds reported last week the sale of the 318,000-dwt Gener8 Zeus (built 2010) for $53m to International Seaways was seen as a step up in the market.
In its latest weekly report Clarksons has increased its assessment of a VLCC resale from $81m to $83m.
