MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has bought three more boxships from tonnage providers close to exiting the container ship market.
The Geneva-based giant has bought a brace of sub-panamax boxships from UK-based Borealis Maritime, estimated to be worth about $28m en bloc.
The carrier is also said to have bought a third boxship from the fleet of Norwegian owner Atlantica Shipping.
