Thai-listed Regional Container Lines has penned a newbuilding order for four conventionally powered sub-panamax boxships costing $226.4m.
The Bangkok-based intra-Asia operator said it has signed a letter of intent with “a reputable yard” for the 4,382-teu quartet.
The first newbuilding is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2027.
