Container freight and charter markets are entering “a new era”, underpinned by robust fundamentals, according to containership analyst John d’Ancona.
Speaking at the TradeWinds Digital Shipowners Forum 2021 on Tuesday, the leading boxship analyst predicted that boxship charter rates could go even higher than todays.
He added that the impact of Covid-19 could be overplayed due to complex factors affecting demand and a steady improvement in market fundamentals.
