A pair of boxships managed by Germany's Thomas Schulte Ship Management (TSM) has found a new owner, in a further sign that values for small and medium-size container vessels are picking up.

The 3,534-teu Maria Schulte (built 2006) and 3,635-teu Hugo Schulte (built 2010) have been sold en bloc to European buyers for $25m.

The deal is thought to include a three-year time charter starting next year.
