Tonnage provider Kotoku Kaiun has acquired a feeder boxship newbuilding from Lomar Shipping.
The Japanese shipowner’s purchase of the 1,774-teu Inferro follows other deals in recent months for vessels in a series of modern Bangkokmax ships that Lomar has on order. The ship is scheduled for delivery this year.
Kotoku took delivery of the sistership Incres (ex-Filoxenia, built 2020) in February.
