Nicholas Georgiou has been appointed chief executive officer of Lomar Shipping, the shipowning and management division of New York-based Libra Group.
The 47-year-old executive will take on the role with immediate effect. He has worked Lomar for the past decade, where he was chief operating officer.
He succeeds Achim Boehme, who died in July after a year-long battle with cancer.
