Singapore container line PIL has revealed its plan to meet the IMO's low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) requirements from next January.
It said: "All our ships will be supplied with compliant fuel with a maximum sulphur content of 0.5%."
In emissions control areas, the vessels will switch to other types of compliant fuel like marine gasoil or ultra-low sulphur fuel (0.1%).
