Carnival Corp's AIDA Cruises has taken a ship out of service less than two weeks after it resumed sailing and delayed all salings amid Germany's Covid-19 restrictions.

The 13-vessel owner began sailing 2,500-berth AIDAblu (built 2010) on 17 October to Italian ports but then on Thursday announced that no ships would sail before December.

AIDA Cruises initially planned to start sending 2,868-berth AIDAmar (built 2008) to the Canary Islands on 1 November and sailing 4,350-berth AIDAperla (built 2017) from Spain on 7 November.
