Clients of Greek owner Dalomar Shipping are set to conclude an asset play on a handymax bulker they bought only six months ago.
Sources say the Oshima built, 48,000-dwt Marianthi (built 2003) has been sold to an undisclosed buyer for $5.5m.
TradeWinds understands, however, that the deal had not been finalized at the time of writing and that, if concluded, it would involve a higher price.
