Singapore’s Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Hapag-Lloyd.
The agreement to cooperate on efforts to decarbonise shipping brings the German liner giant on board with other industry heavyweights BHP, BW Group, DNV Foundation, Eastern Pacific Shipping, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Sembcorp Marine, which were GCMD founding partners, together with the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.
