Deutsche Bank is moving out of shipping coverage with the departure of veteran analyst Amit Mehrotra, who has been headlining research on the sector for a decade.
Mehrotra’s exit comes in a peak rates period for most shipping sectors so will be a little puzzling to some of his peers, especially as the bank had the option to transfer names currently on Mehrotra’s watch to well-regarded deputy Chris Robertson.
