Norway’s Gram Car Carriers has bought another vessel from biggest shareholder F Laeisz at an attractive price.

The Oslo-listed company said the 5,000-ceu pure car/truck carrier Paglia (built 2010) will be added to the fleet for $49m.

VesselsValue assesses the ship as worth $59.5m.

“The purchase price is set in accordance with recent market transactions,” Gram Car Carriers said.

“The transaction is expected to facilitate increased dividend distributions over time and adheres to the company’s strategic aim of pursuing accretive growth opportunities.”
