Wallenius Wilhelmsen has enhanced its bottom line despite turning down certain sources of income.

The Craig Jasienski-led car carrier operator reported $31m in comprehensive income for the third quarter, up from a $20m comprehensive income during the same period last year.

Revenue for the Oslo-listed company's ocean operations, which controls 126 car carriers, declined 6% to $773m, mostly because Wallenius chose not to carry low-paying volumes traveling across the Atlantic Ocean.
